On Monday March 3, a group of second graders, along with their mentors from the College Mentors for Kids organization, visited the CTE. A presentation on the importance of technology and research was given by graduate assistant Athena Dacanay. The children were then given iPads to complete a presentation task led by graduate assistant Madison Carroll. The children were asked to come up with as many pieces of technology they could and a list was formed on the board. They then used the app Sock Puppets to create an animation that presented what their favorite piece of technology is and why. The children enjoyed their time at the CTE and presented a handmade thank you note.
The CTE would like to thank Ramey for facilitating this event
