Meet the future teachers of AIR
Elizabeth
Elizabeth is a senior at Ball State University. She is majoring in Elementary Education and Special Education with a concentration in Gifted and Talented. Elizabeth will be student teaching at Longfellow Elementary School in Muncie, Indiana. Her news bureau is following Muncie.
Olivia
Olivia is a current member of the AIR team. Olivia received her bachelors degree from Ball State in December 2014. She is currently working on her masters degree in speech-language pathology. Olivia’s new bureau is language development.
Meghan
Meghan is a senior at Ball State University. She is a dual major in Elementary and Special Education. She is from Palatine, Illinois, a suburb that is northwest of Chicago. She will be student teaching in Aldine, Texas from January to May 2016 in a second grade classroom. Meghan’s news bureau is following Texas.
Natalie
Natalie is a senior at Ball State. She is an Elementary Education major and is concentrating in Language Arts and Psychology. Natalie plans to graduate in May 2016 and student teach in the fall of 2016. She is from Westfield, Indiana. Natalie’s news bureau is following online learning and assessment in schools.
Sarah
Sarah is a senior at Ball State University. She is a dual major in Elementary and Special Education. Sarah is from West Lafayette, Indiana. She will be student teaching in Frankfort, Indiana from January to May 2016 in a 3rd grade classroom and a special education classroom. Sarah’s news bureau is following Mid-North Indiana.
Caitlyn
Caitlyn is a currently a Senior at Ball State University pursuing a dual major in Elementary and Special Education. She is from Valparaiso, Indiana and hopes to return there to teach in primary grade levels. While finishing her studies and preparing for student teaching in the Spring of 2017, Caitlyn will be substitute teaching and participating in an immersive learning opportunity at Pleasant View Elementary School.
Emily
Emily is a junior at Ball State University. She is currently studying Elementary and Special Education. Emily is from Churubusco, Indiana. She plans on completing her student teaching experience in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Paige
Paige is a junior at Ball State University. She is studying Elementary and Special Education. Paige is from Maria Stein, Ohio. She will be completing her student teaching experience at the Ramstein Air Base in Germany. Paige’s news bureaus will typically be centered around assessment in Special Education.
Jenna
Jenna is a junior at Ball State University. She is studying Elementary Education and Special Education (mild interventions). Jenna is from Brownsburg, Indiana. She hopes to teach in an urban setting in the future in a general education inclusive classroom.
