Assessment

Assessment is a necessary tool in any classroom.  Properly used, it allows for inferences to be made regarding teacher performance and be a gauge of student understanding.  I have very little experience with assessment instrument writing, especially regarding rubrics.  My goal is to become more comfortable in this discipline, and to view it as an excellent way to monitor student progress and as a source of self evaluation in teaching.
