Hello!  My name is Mrs. Houck.  I hold a BSC from Purdue University and am a 2015 Woodrow Wilson Teaching Fellow at Ball State University.  My content areas of interest include both chemistry and physics.  I enjoy science, and the “wondering why’s” of how the world works.  I believe that authentic learning experiences with opportunities for safe failures allow the greatest growth potential in students.

I have a large family and we are currently remodeling our entire house, room by room.  I love pie, Hello Kitty, the beach, all types of coffee and finding humor in everything.
