Greetings. My name is Abby Kozerski Houck. I hold a BSC from Purdue University and am a 2015 Woodrow Wilson Teaching Fellow at Ball State University. My content area of instruction is chemistry. I enjoy finding ways to relay complex information in innovative, simplistic, and relatable ways. I do this by engaging students in authentic learning experiences and giving them opportunities for safe failures. I strive to meet my students where they are academically and help them reach their fullest potential in alignment to their future career goals. I wish to have a student led classroom with a focus on differentiated instruction. Additionally, I have a professional interest in grant writing, knowing that the ultimate laboratory is in the classroom.
