Welcome to the iStudio, the CTE’s interactive learning and research space. The iStudio is a “free and open” cooperative learning space where students, faculty, and staff can work together in formal and informal contexts. Central to the iStudio is a “studio pedagogy”, which our studios employ to support and sustain scholarly collaboration.
The iStudio has numerous technologies for research and teaching that are freely available, including:
- Computers with R, SPSS and other research software.
- Instructional and interactive tools like interactive whiteboards, tablets, document cameras, and learner response systems.
- Videographic tools for classroom and human subject research
- Online systems for content, assessment, reflection, and learning management
CTE staff and those from partner studios (RDS, AIR, etc.) are available to consult with guests on a walk-in basis. Guests may also reserve the iStudio for meetings and events.
Fall 2015 general open studio (walk-in) hours (unless scheduled for an event…see below):
- Monday through Thursdays: 9 AM to 5 PM
- Fridays: 9 AM to 3 PM
