This paper was an assignment for SOC 100. The focus of this paper was to connect a in class lecture, to a topic of interest. For this paper, we had to connect the lecture, to our favorite movie.
Rationale:
I aligned this paper to InTASC number 8, which discusses instructional strategies. This standard focuses on the idea that a teacher will provide ways to give students a deeper understanding of the content being taught. For this assignment I learned that if you are given a topic that does not make the most sense, you will have an easier time understand the topic if you can relate it to something that you enjoy. I learned that many content topics are more memorable, if they are paired with a good example.
