INTASC 7 rationale
The INTASC principle I used was number 7, which says—“The teacher plans instruction based upon knowledge of subject matter, students, the community, and curriculum goals.” An Excel spreadsheet can be used for many different aspects of teaching. For this INTASC though I saw it as a KWL chart—to help the teacher plan the lessons for the day. It is what the teacher knows, what they want to learn and what they learned. This will help the teacher plan the lesson and will help them see what they need to learn before teaching it to the children. The teacher can have the students then make a KWL chart to see how much each student understood as well as what needs more review.
