The project was to find 20 personal photos and upload them to iPhoto. The theme of my photos was Big High School events- Nights to Remember. The skill that I used the most was problem solving- finding the right amount of pictures, finding a song, and then uploading that song into the slide show. It took a lot of patience, however it will be a tool to use in a classroom. Students could use this for multiple thing such as: All About Me Projects, Wonder Indiana, Traveling Trips, and School Clubs could use this to show yearly events. In the future I will use this for Church functions, Family reunions, parties, and then when I become a teacher I will use this at the beginning of the year to introduce myself. Learning how to use iPhoto was a great tool to have.

Rationale for INTASC 4

I don’t believe that my theme fits with one of the INTASC however; this can fit well into the classroom. It could be incorporated through INTASC number 4, where multiple instructional strategies come in to play. This tool could be used for All About Me projects, cultural projects, used after someone comes back from studying abroad. A teacher could use this at the end of the year as a timeline of accomplishments. iPhoto could be used in many different ways it is a tool that kids can use instead of looking at a textbook all day.
