The purpose of the study was to determine if an instructional aid composed of various learning strategies and principles facilitated criminal law retention in new police recruits. A secondary hypothesis, data utilizing only the experimental recruit class, was used to assess Moreno and Mayer updated cognitive-affective theory of learning with media.
