Creative thinking promotes psychological well-being, academic achievement, and societal advancements, making it a desirable skill for all students to develop. Thus, the goal of this presentation is to examine how existing classroom assessment methods can be transformed to capture students’ creative thinking. These assessments provide important feedback on students’ thought processes, which teachers can use to inform future instruction and researchers can use to better understand the complex construct of creativity.
