Teacher-Scholar Program

Exhibits, Faculty, Scholarship of Teaching

Faculty in the Department of Educational Psychology are participating in the Ball State Teacher-Scholar Program.

What is a Teacher-Scholar?

Teacher-Scholars are faculty who remain active in their scholarship, bring their scholarship into the classroom, and collaborate with students as colleagues, engaging students in their research and creative endeavors. The program provides undergraduates with a paid opportunity to be engaged in research or a creative project with a faculty member. Click here for a flyer on the program

Educational Psychology Teacher-Scholars

Dr. Jerrell Cassady is working with an undergraduate student on projects affiliated with the Research Design Studio (RDS) related to test anxiety, learning in context (online/live), educational initiatives focused on de-stigmatizing American Indians, community programs to support K-readiness, pre-K literacy, and bolstering school readiness for traditionally underserved populations (prek-3).

Dr. Matthew Stuve is still looking for students who have a good idea for online teaching and learning. The main goal is to build an online repository for assessment-informed activities, lessons, units and methods that we’re making available to/with teachers who need help transitioning to online teaching.
