Thus, the goal of this presentation is to examine how existing classroom assessment methods can be transformed to capture students\u2019 creative thinking. These assessments provide important feedback on students\u2019 thought processes, which teachers can use to inform future instruction and researchers can use to better understand the complex construct of creativity.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lisa Rubenstein, PhD, is an associate professor at Ball State University. She has experience as a classroom teacher and a research associate at the National Center for the Gifted and Talented. She currently directs Ball State\u2019s undergraduate gifted and talented programs and recently received the National Association of Gifted Children\u2019s Early Scholar Award.
