Motivations Toward Academic Achievements

Purpose and Procedure. This study seeks to determine whether students have different kinds of motivations for their academic achievements. The online survey examines the relationship of motivations with specific personality traits (Conscientiousness, Self-Actualization, Goal-Orientations, Intrinsic and Extrinsic Motivational Orientations, Wisdom, Openness to Experience, Need Satisfaction, and Social Desirability) and to see whether there are differences between different demographic groups.

Inclusion Criteria: Undergraduate students aged 18+ years old

Departmental research credit participants will receive:  2.0 credits (90-120 minutes)
