If you are unable to participate in a research study because you do not qualify, there aren’t enough available studies, or you are uninterested in participating, then you may write a Research Review worth 1.0 research credits.

In this option, you read published empirical (evidence-based) research and then write a summary of it and an application to practice.  Chose a research article that is interesting to you and one you can apply to your academic and professional goals. While reading your research article, highlight and make notes. After writing your review, copy and paste your paragraphs into the submission form.

Since this option counts for 1.0 research credits, the expectation is to take at least 30 minutes, not counting the reading and note taking of the article. Use your notes and ideas from reading to compose your review.
