Purpose and Procedure: The purpose of this study is to better understand students’ attitudes toward a potentially controversial University Policy (i.e., earlier course times). For this project, you will be asked to write a brief essay explaining why Ball State University should, or should not, implement policy allowing 7:00 AM courses. You will also be asked to complete questionnaires assessing basic demographic information, your attitude toward the proposed policy, your emotional reaction(s) throughout the experimental session and your ability to perceive and regulate emotional states.
