What is this study about?
The purpose of this study is to examine beliefs toward individuals with a developmental condition. For this study, you will be asked to view a short video regarding either a developmental condition or a social expectation that lasts approximately 15 minutes. You will also be asked to engage in a brief writing task (e.g., 5-10 sentences; 50 characters) in which you will respond to a prompt related to recalling information, providing opinions, and/or perspective-taking. Lastly, you will be asked to complete a series of questions. Overall, this study will last approximately 30 minutes.
Who is eligible?
You should be 18-years and older and enrolled in a course in the department of educational psychology. You also must be able to watch and listen to a video followed by completion of an electronic survey.
If you are blind/low vision, deaf, or hard of hearing, or who are unable to physically click through an online survey you will be excluded. If you are below the age of 18 you will also be excluded.
